$3000Inspected and certified containers that are wind & water tight to protect from the elements, all doors are function and lock to keep out unwanted pests.
These containers are stronger, longer lasting, cost effective, and they hold their resale value.
Containers come in a few different sizes:
20' Standard (20'x8'x8'6")
40' Standard (40'x8'x8'6")
40' High Cube (40'x8'x9'6")
Conditions may vary depending on your preference:
New (One Trip)- Have been used ONE time before resale. May have extremely minor cosmetic issues but they are generally without flaw.
Cargo Worthy Certified- Containers are wind water tight and they have been inspected within the last year and have been shown to meet all the international shipping standards. These containers will have dings, dents, paint chips, and surface rust, this is perfectly normal. However, they have been inspected and shown to still have their original tinsel strength, with all gaskets and seals in place to keep cargo clean dry and rodent free.
Wind & Water Tight- These containers are considered “retired” (cannot go on a barge). For these containers, there is really only one set of criteria, they must be wind & water tight. This means that the cosmetic condition of a WWT container consists on a greater spectrum of variance then a cargo worthy certified container. This means that all gaskets and seals must be in place, the doors must close and latch properly, the floors must not be rotted out, and there must be no leaks at the time of inspection. Since the container only has to hold out wind and water during the time of inspection, you must take in to consideration the transportation off product. WWT containers are more likely to have greater amounts of rust, paint chips, dings, dents ect.
**Marginal cost difference between Wind Water Tight and Cargo Worthy Certified, only by a few hundred dollars.**
