$350Authentic Game-Issued Full Baseball Uniform - Seattle Mariners #8 Norichika Aoki *Never Worn*
This authentic, one-of-a-kind, game-issued full uniform (jersey + pants) was designed for Seattle Mariners starting outfielder #8 Norichika (Nori) Aoki.
This throwback uniform was designed after the home uniforms worn by the Mariners during the 1984 season, and was worn by each of the Mariners as a tribute to the past team during this year's annual "Turn Back The Clock" throwback game at Safeco Feild against the St. Louis Cardinals on June 25th, 2016.
Since Aoki never played in this historic game, his unused uniform was instead sold at the Seattle Mariners Team Store after the game. Due to the nature of these throwback games and uniforms, this specific uniform will never be issued again. This creates a unique opportunity for a Mariners fan to own a rare piece of Mariners memorabilia and Aoki's history.
This brand new, never-worn uniform is truly the only one of its kind. Both the jersey and pants feature the label of authenticity, and are specified to Aoki's exact measurements. The pullover V-neck jersey is a size 46 (equivalent to a US Men's Large) and was purchased for $298. The pants are sized at 34-39-30, include 2 buttons with an interior drawstring belt, and were purchased for $55. Both pieces are white with royal blue and gold details. Other authentic, non-player issued (similar yet less unique) jerseys in a similar style retail start at $300 and up in stores and do not include pants.
This uniform would make for a great collectible to be framed and displayed, an incredibly unique Halloween costume, or a timeless Christmas gift for your favorite M's fan. How do you plan on using it?
